CIS cup 3rd round draw – St Johnstone v Queen of the South

The draw for the 3rd round in the CIS cup was made this afternoon and Queen of the South is playing St.Johnstone away from home. Due to the seeding system Queens were guaranteed to draw an SPL team, so were hoping for an old firm team away or a home game. Away to St.Johnstone was one of the worst draws financially but it is a winnable tie if Queens play the way we know they can.

Full draw:

Rangers v Dunfermline

Kilmarnock v Hibs

Aberdeen v Raith

Falkirk v Hearts

Celtic v Inverness

Ross County v Dundee United

St Johnstone v Queen of the South

Brechin City v Motherwell

All ties to be played 21st/22nd September
