Hello Bluegrassers,

this is a special show celebrating the film “O Brother Where Art Thou’ (Released in 2000) starring George Clooney as Ulysses Everett McGill who is having difficulty adjusting to his hard-labor sentence in Mississippi. He scams his way off the chain gang with simple Delmar (Tim Blake Nelson) and maladjusted Pete (John Turturro), then the trio sets out to pursue freedom and the promise of a fortune in buried treasure. With nothing to lose and still in shackles, their hasty run takes them on an incredible journey of awesome experiences and colorful characters. Directed by Ethan and Joel Coen it produced some excellent bluegrass music and brought Dr.Ralph Stanley’s old  mountain voice to many for the first time. The show is a celebration of the 10th year of the film which is now in it’s 16th year.

It is a classic so enjoy it,
