Dumfries welcomes the RSAC Scottish Rally this weekend
This year’s RSAC Scottish motor rally returns to our region for another spectacular day of thrills and spills. There are lots of opportunities to see the action, which kicks off in Dumfries Town Centre at 8.30am on Saturday 25th June.
The full spectator schedule is available from www.scottishrally.co.uk and covers viewing opportunities in Ae Forest, Heathhall, Castle O’er and Twiglees forests, with the cars returning to Dumfries town centre between 3.50 & 6pm.
Scrutineering takes place from 4pm today, 24th June, in the Ice Bowl, Dumfries.
As the rally is taking place on Armed Forces Day, there will be several opportunities to make a donation to the Help for Heroes charity during the event.
Local driver, David Bogie and co-driver, Kevin Rae Mitsubishi are seeded No1, for the rally, in their Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 9.
