She made it to the live finals of the X Factor in 2009, and now Lucie Jones is representing the UK at Eurovision Song Contest 2017.

The 25-year-old popstar from Cardiff was chosen as the United Kingdon’s entrant for the competition in Kyiv, Ukraine during a BBC Two selection show aired back in March, where she battled it out against five other hopefuls.

Lucie emerged victorious with her song, Never Give Up On You.

“I’m very excited; I’m still shaking a little bit,” she said. “I can’t believe that people chose me. How wonderful is that? Representing the UK as a singer, it’s such an honour.”

Will she bring it home for the UK, or will she be a Euro Flop?
