Phew, you ought to have seen it half an hour ago. On a Sunday because we go to Church down in the Finnish village of Tankevaara, I make sure all the Elves have a good breakfast. Horace had porridge, toast and and egg roll and promptly spilled the egg all down his good green shirt. I’ve been scrubbing his shirt and it is drying by the fire. I do hope it is dry in time.
It was a busy day yesterday. Helen in Troqueer “hello”!! You asked me to say hello on my blog. Hope you are having a nice morning.
When get back from Church we have a lovely dinner with all Elves and Reindeer and let me tell you Mrs Claus makes a wonderful dinner.
Very soon the Loreburne Centre in Dumfries will have my special North Pole Postal Service. I will get your letters, which is wonderful.

Santa here. I’m a bit sore yesterday. All those exercises to get me down the chimney have taken their toll. I’m not a spring chicken you know.
So today we are really busy. We work really hard so we can take tomorrow morning off as the Elves and I fly in the Sleigh down to Tankevaara in Finland to go to Church. The reindeer love it there too. The children like to pat them and give them hot apple juice to drink.
Today we packed a lot of presents for Newton Stewart. Some of my wooden trains went there.
Hang on, what’s that I can smell. Spiced apple and bramble juice, hot too! You will need to excuse me, I will write to you tomorrow!! Have a lovely Saturday! Remember be good!

It’s another busy morning here in the North Pole. Rudolf is putting all the other reindeer through their paces and after I finish my Breakfast I start limbering up with my chimney exercises. It take a lot of effort to get down chimneys, drop presents and not leave soot on the carpet you know.
Last night we painted all the wooden toys going to Norway, the next country’s presents will be Scotland. I thought you will have liked that. Hello to John aged 7 from Georgetown. I got your letter in the post today, just thought I would let you know.

Santa Claus here, or if you want to give me my proper name Saint Nicholas. Thank you Alive for asking me to write to all the little children in Dumfries, every day until Christmas. It gives me a chance to relax for 2 minutes with a nice cup of tea. It’s needed, pheww!
The North Pole Post Office has given me a few letters, thank you for those, but I have exciting news for you!! The Loreburne Centre in Dumfries very soon will have a special North Pole Only Post Box that will send all your letters to me. So I hope you have been good boys and girls, and when I get your letters I will see what I can do. The elves are working hard in the workshops making all the toys. They were busy making little wooden trains this morning.
I had better go, my tea is finished and I need to go walk the reindeer. Bye for now.
