|Lee Michael Medd||Dumfries born Lee, is a retail manager, qualified jeweller and all round good looking chap!
He has one of the most recognisable faces around town from his time spent working for a number of big names in retail. An avid news-junkie Lee always has his finger on the pulse of what's going on in the news and entertainment world, he's a self confessed pop-nut as well as a huge wrestling and football fan, supporting his beloved Newcastle United on 'Alive & Kicking.'

|Mark Hutton||Mark Hutton brightens up the airways on Friday morning’s breakfast show and monthly on Sunday at Seven. Mark is a fun-loving committed Christian. Involved in Kirkcudbright life and can often be found preaching in Kirkcudbright Parish Church. He is involved in the Gideons International, which distributes bibles to first year pupils at all the local secondary school each year. Never short of a word or two, Mark expresses his views honestly and sometimes with scant regard to political correctness, which usually makes for an interesting and amusing show. Mark is from Norn Iron ( Northern Ireland) , is married to the long suffering Susan and has 3 grown up children. He enjoys playing squash, basketball, and making people laugh. And his music?--------- well, ... you tell me!|

|Dave Macfarlane||Mad about media from an early age, Dave first became involved with radio in the 90s (that’s the 1990s) and has presented and produced a wide range of programming for various stations south of the border. Just now he’s studying for a Masters in Joint Electrical and Mechanical Engineering at the University of Edinburgh.|

|Mark Smith||Mark's the Chairman of Alive Christian Media Ltd. He's Pastor of the River of Life Church, a local independent evangelical Church. He's also chairman of Christian Care for the Homeless, a local charity helping homless and needy people in & around Dumfries. His passion is to make Dumfries a better place & help people find fulfillment in life, through a real, down to earth application of Christianity. He heads up the station and is part of the Drivetime team with interviews, reviews and discussions, as well as great music.|
|Sheila Notman||A native Doonhamer, Sheila is an ESOL Tutor with Dumfries & Galloway Council. She has recently celebrated her 25th wedding anniversary and is the mother of a teenager, which might explain a lot! She's involved in Troqueer Church, especially with music. Sheila has recently heard herself being called the Duchess of Drivetime, a name which she secretly likes! Her Thursday show, in partnership with her glamorous assistant, Margaret, is a mix of music and chat and the odd silence when she presses the wrong button.|
|Margaret Moore||Born and brought up in Glasgow, Margaret has lived in Hamilton, Melbourne Australia and Dumfries. Work history, 'jack of all trades, master of none'. Family: two sons, one daughter, three grandsons, four granddaughters and one great grandson. Presently Sheila's glamorous assistant on Thursday Drive-time.|

Stephen Temlett is a born and bred Dumfries boy with a great passion for sports. This love affair with sport, and a distinct lack of talent in any of them, lead to pursuing a career in sports journalism. He studied sports journalism at university, took one class in a radio studio, and was bitten by the radio bug. Joining the station early in 2012, helping out the boys on Alive and Kicking before getting his own sports show: On the Ball.
He is cutting his teeth in the industry, which explains a lot, at Alive and hopes to progress his talents at the station. Having graduated from university with a degree he got a job at a local newspaper and is ideally placed to be in the know with the local sports scene. He wants to share that passion for sports with listeners and is always welcome to the opinions of listeners.

Born and Bred in Thornhill Iain was one of the first presenters recruited at Alive 107.3.
Iain works in the family butchery in Thornhill and held the title of World Scotch Pie Champion in 2012. He was a mobile DJ for 15 years running his own successful company Disco Inferno gigging all over Scotland and Northern England.
He’s also a part time journalist and photographer having been published in newspapers, magazines and online. Iain describes his Tuesday evening show as a, “Veritable cornucopia of music”, with something for everyone, with his show reflecting 3 great decades of music every week.

Hugh has been steeped in folk music since his late teens, first as a folk club member and floor singer then as a club and festival organizer. He was Artistic Director of the prestigious Girvan Folk Festival, created Moniaive Folk Festival and was its Artistic Director for nine years.
He has many years of experience in radio starting as the producer and presenter of the popular Westfolk Show on Westsound Radio. From there he moved on to carve out a career as a writer and radio features producer.
Musicaly he is one half of McCrossan and Taylor, a duo playing an eclectic mixture of music including folk and country. They are noted for their harmony singing and intricate guitar arrangements.

Brought up in a house full of Dubliners, Clancy Brothers and, er, Al Jolson long-players, Harry's first forays into music were decidely un-folk/world, as part of the legendary (in Kirkcudbright) post-punk outfit Zachariah Toadstool. Having returned to Galloway after a spell in the deep south, Harry dabbled in local folk sessions for the best part of fifteen years before joining up with Alan McClure as part of "indie folksters" The Geese, and later The Razorbills. He is involved in staging Gatehouse of Fleet's Midsummer Music Festival and Mill Sessions, and can usually be found on a Thursday at the town's Masonic Arms pub sessions, which mix folk with every other genre you can think of (and some you can't).

John has been a professional musician for over 30 years playing for several years in folk groups including Cunla and Jook Street Jug Band as well as solo work. For most of his professional career though he concentrated on providing PA and touring support for folk musicians and festivals having worked with most of the major artists working with traditional music in Scotland.
He has also specialised in live location recording with projects including Lasair Dhe at Glasgow Cathedral and various BBC live broadcasts. He has been tour manager and PA engineer for touring artists ranging from fully professional to young performers at the start of their careers. John has recorded albums for various people including The Paul McKenna Band, Tom Clelland, Adam McCulloch and managed schools recordings for South Lanarkshire Council.

Nicola was born and brought up in the “musical hub” of Moniaive. She works in primary schools around the Dumfries area, teaching Art and Design.
When she is not listening to music, she is singing it. She was one of four vocalists in Wallacehall Academy’s amazing Ceilidh Band, Celtic Caboodle. Of the others, Emily Smith went on to become one of Scotland’s top folk artists and a BBC Young Traditional Musician of the Year; Nicky Spence is Scotland’s top male Opera Singer and Anna Robson, like Nicola is an amazing Jazz singer.
As well as being part of the FOLKnSTUFF Team, Nicola presents the weekly Mainly Jazz show on Alive 107.3.

Ali Donowho has been involved with Alive since September 2011, initially known as Producer Ali on Alive Country. Showcasing his wide knowledge of country music he transferred across to Daytime slots early 2012. Using his unique brand of humour and pub quiz random facts Ali tries to fill the airwaves with merriment and mirth whenever he is on. A far cry form his day job with the Scottish Ambulance Service. One thing thats guaranteed whether your music taste is cheesy or tragic Ali will always have something to make you smile.

Rory Nelson started Radio Nowhere in September 2011 playing the best of modern and classic rock, blues, soul and funk tracks, and anything else that catches his ear! With Rory’s laid back presenting style and dubious humour, coupled with some great music, its always guaranteed to be a fun show. Rory has been playing guitar since he was 15 and has played with a few local bands, and has a few “tales of the road” to tell! He has a genuine love for music and enjoys sharing it with the Alive listeners.

Chris is a local hotelier who has lived and worked in Dumfries and Galloway for the past 25 years. A once regular face on Border TV he hosted his own cookery show "Spoon with a view" in the early 90's. He is a keen Sea Kayaker and drummer.A regular gig and festival goer he admits that he doesn't fall into the stereotypical metal fan category and was once mistaken for the bus driver when returning with fellow metal fans from the Hellfest rock festival in France. " I'm a huge believer in never judge a sausage by its skin"
Ross Whitelaw is a Doonhamer born and bred. Leaving Dumfries at 16 to join the Royal Navy he travelled the world for ten years before returning to Dumfries. Ross has been a Heavy Metal fan for nearly thirty years and has seen countless bands in the smallest of basements to the biggest of stadiums. A fan of many genres of heavy metal Ross will play a huge range of bands from the all time classic bands to new and up and coming bands and some you may have forgotten ever existed! Ross has real enthusiasm for metal music and enjoys debating the merits of various songs with his listeners. Ross can be spotted quite easily as he is the one that permanently wears heavy metal T-Shirts at Alive 107.3FM.
