Connecting the decades and digging out the new, Late Night Sketchy will bring together the known, the unknown, the unclassifiable and tunes to make you swoon.

This radio show aims to have an Indie slant, however, with a career based around Alternative, Rock, Jazz, Punk, Post-Punk, Folk, Pop, Electronica, Reggae, Krautrock, Metal, Psyche, Avant-Garde, Funk, Hip-Hop, Goth…it’s a show that will pretty much playlist whatever sounds good. Tropicalia? Maybe. Northern Soul? Probably. Indie? Most definitely. Starting as an entertainments columnist for The Standard in 1994, Chay’s CV includes writing for Classic Rock, BBC, Daily Record, Kerrang, Front, Sunday Mail, Loaded and many more. He still writes occasionally but prefers to avoid scribbling reviews at the eternal hour of 3am. Along with a decade at The Wickerman Festival (creating and running the new Scottish music inspired Solus Tent) and working with other Scottish music festivals such as Northern Roots, Doune The Rabbit Hole, Eden, Brew at The Bog and Knockengorroch, he also found some time to co-create and develop Electric Fields Festival. When he’s not listening to music, he’s listening to music.
