Coming Soon

From Sludge to Classic Rock, the Punk-O-Rama jump around to the Experimental, the open heat to the Desert to the sweat-dripped venue walls of Alternative Noise … ‘Smells Like Black Flag’ is a two hour full-on of everything Rock.

About the presenter:

Starting as an entertainment columnist for The Standard in 1994, Chay’s CV includes writing for Classic Rock, BBC, Daily Record, Kerrang, Front, Sunday Mail, Loaded, and many more. He still writes occasionally but prefers to avoid scribbling reviews at the eternal hour of 3am. Along with a decade at The Wickerman Festival (creating and running the new Scottish music-inspired Solus Tent) and working with other Scottish music festivals such as Northern Roots, Brew at The Bog, and Knockengorroch, he also found the time to co-create/develop Electric Fields Festival, as well as being the current press officer for Eden Festival and a stage booker at Doune The Rabbit Hole near Stirling.  He also does a radio show on TotalRock, which he vaguely describes as ‘2 hours of Doom-Psych-Metal-Punk-Indie-Rock music, and who knows what else’.

When he’s not listening to music, he’s listening to music. Late Night Sketchy aims to have an Indie slant, however, with a career based around Alternative, Rock, Jazz, Punk, Post-Punk, Folk, Pop, Electronica, Reggae, Krautrock, Metal, Psyche, Avant-Garde, Funk, Hip-Hop, Goth…it’s a show that will pretty much playlist whatever sounds good. Tropicalia? Maybe. Northern Soul? Probably. Indie? Most definitely. Connecting the decades and digging out the new, Late Night Sketchy will bring together the known, the unknown, the unclassifiable, and the tunes to make you swoon.
